​My practice moves between painting and songwriting, and the two inform each other in ways I find difficult to separate. I draw on the interplay between music and visual art to develop work across both forms, sometimes producing paintings and songs in parallel, each responding to the same source of energy or idea. The connection is less about illustration than about a shared creative current. As a realist painter working in acrylics and textured mediums, I build images through multiple layers, using bold color and surface depth to give everyday subjects a sense of weight and presence. The process is deliberate but open, guided by a commitment to precision without losing the vitality that comes from working intuitively. My background in dance, music, and painting shapes how I think about rhythm, movement, and composition across all of these disciplines. I approach each work as an opportunity to refine my practice, holding the process itself to a standard of honesty and care. The goal is not to impose meaning but to let the image arrive with clarity and impact.
